Timothy J. Quill

Timothy J. Quill, retired from the Town of Oyster Bay as Coordinator, Community and Youth Service, providing services to its residents. He created opportunities for cultural, recreational and social exposure for 4-21 year-old participants in funded youth programs. He has worked with youth boards providing after school enrichment programs and recreational and athletic opportunities. Through staff supervision, he delegated and monitored assignments to support clinical and professional staff. He strived to maximize performance levels by acting as a resourceful and supportive program director to the town’s youth bureau. 

Acting as a coordinator/trainer, he designed curriculums and an atmosphere conducive to motivation and achievement. He also executed progressive as well as traditional techniques that provided students with vital vocational, employment and social survival skills. He conducted self-help and review groups within job search seminar settings to analyze students’ needs and to formulate individualized objectives. Has produced, directed and written prevention videos designed for public awareness television programs aired on C-span. He has also assisted in the creation of the Town’s historical archives. Timothy is a member of the Massapequa Kiwanis Club and actively participates in their mental health committee.
